Hey, everyone, don't be shy! Got any tips, tricks or just need advice concerning shelties? My first tip is to use Baby Oil to remove glue residue from your dog's ears. It is less toxic then glue removers and then can be removed by using baby powder. I always use Tear Mender glue. Sets almost instantly and is non toxic and is easy to remove. Another tip is to use corn starch instead of grooming powder! Or chalk on the legs/feet. Less toxic to both you and the dog with similar results. Another great tip is to use "Ring Bologna" for training. My dog's love this MORE then anything else, including liver, or chicken or cheese. Have tried them all. Ring Bologna is cheap and can be frozen to take to shows. Or can be "baked" in the oven to have a harder, less greasy feel. Like hot dogs.

Hi! We are new to this site, and looking for a lovely tri-color young female. She is for a companion and pet. We are hoping for a rescue or cast off that is looking for someone to love her. We currently have one large male (altered) about 20" high and would like our female to be about the same size.
We lost his mother last summer from cancer, and we all miss her terribly and would like a new "lady" in the house. If you know anyone please let us know. We have applied at all the obvious rescue locations on "google" . We are located in Gettysburg, but can travel wherever needed.
thank you~ judi mcgee judimcgee@adelphia.net
